About me
Sage Moon (pronouns: He/They), also known as "The Horror Maven," is the author of three novels and many short stories and poems that have been published in a variety of anthologies. They are Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Pride with a Bite – an independent publisher of queer horror. Sage has been part of the independent writing community since 2013 as an author, editor, book interior designer, marketer, and speaker. Promoting and reviewing books by marginalized authors is one of his biggest passions.
Sage is also a mental health specialist & bibliotherapist. They own a private practice serving the queer community. One of his unique specialties is utilizing horror books & writing to address phobias, anxiety disorders, and trauma, and he is passionate about sharing the healing power of horror with others.
