Welcome to the premiere horror literary convention presented by the Horror Writers Association. Registration for StokerCon 2025 is now available! This year the convention is being hosted by the city of Stamford, Connecticut, at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center. We’re taking over from June 12th through the 15th, 2025.

The 80's and 90's were a splendor of dark fantasy and science fiction for children, some of which have haunted us since in a phenomenon known as Kindertrauma. Panelists will look back on some of their favorite classic kids media and discuss how the stories, characters and settings influenced their work and how that frightening nostalgia has driven the narrative of today's television shows and books.
