About me
Amber Herbert is a (mostly) speculative fiction author living in Colorado Springs with her partner and their two gremlins. She holds a BA in English literature and worked as a freelance editor for seven years before giving up that gig to write full time. Lipstick Covered Magnet, a contemporary novel about the harshness of trauma and stalking, was her first novel (independently published). She's currently penning an epic fantasy series, a dark Peter Pan sequel, a standalone small-town monster horror, a vampire duology, and a punk murder mystery. When she’s not writing or reading, she enjoys baking, going to emo/punk/hardcore gigs, playing board games, and watching and critiquing TV and film.
