About me
Nicole M. Wolverton is a fear enthusiast who is the author of the upcoming young adult horror novel MEAT SWEATS (fall 2026, Horrorsmith Publishing), as well as A MISFORTUNE OF LAKE MONSTERS (2024, CamCat Books). She served as Editor of BODIES FULL OF BURNING (2021, Sliced Up Press), the first-ever short fiction anthology that centers horror through the lens of menopause. Additionally, she is a Pushcart-nominated writer of 50-plus works of short fiction, creative nonfiction, and essays. She lives in the Philadelphia area and holds a masters in horror and storytelling from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Horror Writers Association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
