StokerCon 2025

I am on the 5th draft of edits for my first horror novel (hoping to have it finished and ready to query by StokerCon, plz send good vibes ahh!!!), but I've been a storyteller my whole life.

Growing up as a professional child actor in NYC, I have performed on television shows, film, commercials, and radio, and have done voiceover work for feature films, tv, radio spots and jingles, audiobooks, and toys. I am a singer/dancer/actor who performed on Broadway for several years, and I graduated from UCLA with a BA in Theater. I use all that I have learned as an actor to add depth to the characters I now write. Member of SAG/AFTRA and Equity.

I am also a singer/songwriter. As my rock alter ego "Madysin Hatter", I have written, recorded, and released albums and music videos, and I have been hired to write songs for various professional projects. Madysin Hatter has opened for some legendary rock acts including Lita Ford, Kix, Buckcherry, Tom Keifer of Cinderella, Faster Pussycat, Great White, Winger, and more, at some iconic venues including the world famous Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. Huge classic rock fan!

As Madysin Hatter, I spent three years writing and curating a magazine column called "Madysin Hatter's Song of the Week" for Steppin' Out Magazine--NJ's #1 entertainment magazine--where I interviewed local and international music acts, and reviewed their latest releases.

During the pandemic, I began taking virtual writing classes through many outlets including UCLA Extension, International Thriller Writers, MasterClass, and the Deep Dive series from the podcast The Sh!t No One Tells You About Writing. Now I'm totally hooked!! Trying to learn all I can and finish writing this book before it kills me...I mean, so I can start writing the next one.

I live in New Jersey with my husband and our son. This year I will be attending my third ThrillerFest, and this is my first StokerCon! I'm so excited, thanks for having me.
