About me
Hi folks, I'm Zac Ashford. I'm an Australian horror writer with a big love of creature features and psychological horror.
My debut novel Polyphemus was released last year and is a finalist in the Australian Shadows Awards' best novel category and the Imadjinn Awards' best horror novel category.
I've also released several novellas including the Sole Survivor duology (Unnerving), and the Aurealis-nominated books When the Cicadas Stop Singing (Horrific Tales) and The Morass (Crystal Lake). I love talking writing, horror, wildlife, and general bollocks.
I love a beer!
I love getting involved with panels, readings, workshops, and general hanging. I met a few folks over in Texas before when I attended the Ghoulish festival in 2023, and am fairly involved with the Aussie horror and spec convention circuit, having participated in Conflux, Genrecon, and tonnes of other bits and bobs.
If you see me, come say G'day.
