About the author
Cindy O’Quinn is an Appalachian writer. She grew up in the beautiful mountains of West
Virginia. She writes fiction, nonfiction, and speculative poetry, which all lean heavily into the
horror genre. It was with Cindy’s fifth Bram Stoker Award® nomination that garnered her a
winner of the prestigious award. Her poetry has been nominated for the Elgin, Rhylsing, and
Dwarf Star awards.
