Welcome to the premiere horror literary convention presented by the Horror Writers Association. Registration for StokerCon 2025 is now available! This year the convention is being hosted by the city of Stamford, Connecticut, at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center. We’re taking over from June 12th through the 15th, 2025.

About me

Nathan Carson was raised on a goat farm in the backwoods of Mid-Valley Oregon but has called Portland home since 1997. His weird horror novella Starr Creek predicted the Stranger Things zeitgeist, and his graphic novel adaptation of Algernon Blackwood’s The Willows is being used as a study material at universities around the world. His short fiction has been published in a succession of quality anthologies and magazines. Carson is an accomplished music journalist, booking agent, FM radio DJ, founding member of the long-running doom band Witch Mountain, an Active Member of HWA, and a MOTH StorySlam Champion.
