Welcome to the premiere horror literary convention presented by the Horror Writers Association. Registration for StokerCon 2025 is now available! This year the convention is being hosted by the city of Stamford, Connecticut, at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center. We’re taking over from June 12th through the 15th, 2025.

About me

Kenya has been writing weird stories since childhood, and is now the proud author of three collections - Daymares, The Mixtape and the more recent Sick xoxo, a set of dark tales about love, sex, death and everything in between. Find her work in other horror anthologies such as Forever Vacancy, Black Magic Women, and Deadly Bargain, as well as frequent appearances in Sirens Call Publications. This summer, prepare to squirm as Kenya releases Progeny (Truborn Press), her first horror novella!

In 2023, Kenya created the Black Women in Horror Month digital magazine in collaboration with the expansion of the original Black Women in Horror project created by Sumiko Saulson.
