About me
Janine Cross's dark fantasy trilogy The Dragon Temple Saga was published with Random House USA and with Heyne in Germany. Publishers Weekly called the trilogy a “bold debut in a richly detailed, well-imagined world”, and Library Journal voted Touched by Venom (Book One in the trilogy) one of the top five SF & Fantasy books of 2005. In addition to writing fantasy, Cross has written an upmarket commercial novel, The Footstop Cafe, published in Canada by Dundurn Press under the pseudonym Paulette Crosse. She's sold fiction & non-fiction to various magazines and was nominated for the 2019 Editor's Choice Award for her aviation articles sold to the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association magazine. She's a founding member and past president for Vancouver's North Shore Writers Association, is a co-chair for the HWA Greater Vancouver Chapter, and is the HWA Membership Committee secretary. As a private pilot, she's taught numerous self-empowerment workshops through Airtime Canada at aviation events, and private and public secondary and elementary schools.
